My mom and I were talking about books, as we often do, and she was telling me about this book that she recently read called Lamb: The gospel according to Biff, Christ's childhood friend by Christopher Moore. I just bought it, and I'm hoping that it is as funny as I've heard, more to come!

Speed Reader?

I felt like I really needed to share this with everyone, I finished an almost 500 page book (498 to be exact) in less than 12 hours (more specifically, 11.5 hours). I re-read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, so I'm not sure if it is really that impressive if I have already read the book, but I was pretty proud of myself. I even stopped a couple times to eat ( I made macaroni and cheese, its my favorite), and had to help my dad clear the driveway so that he could leave.

The Cellar (pt. 2)

I finished The Cellar by Natasha Preston. It was probably one of the creepiest books I have ever read. IT was fantastic, but creepy. Not trying to spoil the ending, but it is the typical "happily ever after" ending. I was kind of disappointed. I was hoping that since it was kinda of a weird book, that it would end differently, but I guess that it probably wouldn't sell if the ending of the book wasn't per the norm.
Highly recommend this book if you like suspense. Pretty quick read, not a very long book.

Top 10 Most Read Books of All Time

Have you ever wondered what the top 10 most read books are of all time? I have. So, I took the liberty of looking that up. You're welcome.
10. The Diary of Anne Frank by Anne Frank
9. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
8. Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
7. Twilight - The Saga by Stephenie Meyer
6. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
5. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
4. Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien
3. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
2. Quotations from the works of Mao Tse-tung by Mao Tse-tung
1. The Bible

So being the great reader that I am, I have started another book.
I started reading "Cinder" by Marissa Meyer. It's like Cinderella, except set in modern times. It's pretty interesting. Kind of weird to think about though. In this book, there is a girl that is called Cinder, and she is a cyborg. I'm still figuring out the rest of the plot because it is pretty confusing.
More to come on this book and "The Cellar".

The Cellar

I'm currently reading this book called The Cellar by Natasha Preston and I have to say, it's kinda creepy. I guess I should have known that from the description on the back. If you haven't heard of it, it's about this girl who has a great life and gets kidnapped by this crazy guy who keeps girls in his basement or "cellar" (that's where the title comes in!) and this guy is a psychopath and is obsessed with girls that are "pure" or "perfect little flowers". There are 3 girls that are kept there right now, and they are all renamed after flowers because they are his "perfect little flowers". I haven't gotten too far into the book because I've found that I can only read it during the day. It's pretty good so far, if you're into suspense. There will be more to come on this book, after I finish it.
